The 11.5" blocks are for making two half-square triangles where you draw a line across the center and sew a quarter of an inch on each side of the line, then cut along the line. But in the second sample I would think there would be 8 blocks of that size cut not just 4? so I am not sure how this will go. I guess have to wait till next weeks lesson.
