{Sew} Modern Monday #16

Hey everyone!
Time for another weekly edition

{Sew} Modern Monday at Canoe Ridge Creations

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!  Over here, Sunday was jammed packed with making/serving breakfast at church, a 6:30 am Sunrise Service, and opening the golf course all before noon.  After that it was off to my grandma and grandpa's for a family Easter dinner and an afternoon full of fun.  I even managed to squeeze a little sewing related activity into the busy schedule too! Call me crazy, but I have seriously gotten hooked (and I mean really, really hooked) on wrapping little fabric bolts.  Sometimes it seems more fun than actually sewing!  Any one else like that?  There is just something so relaxing about it.  Love it.

While pictures of fabric stacks can be yummy, I won't put you all through that. :) Instead here are a few goodies that were linked up last week...

Did you all see this pillow that was linked up by Kim?
I don't know about you, but I am seriously digging the new DS fabric
and I especially love it in this pillow.

Sara from FairyFace Designs linked up this beautiful dresden

Oh, and you must check out these twin quilts from City House Studio.
Not only do I love her colors, but the pebble quilting she did
is amazingly wonderful!

Alright onto this week.  You know the drill!  New to the game?  Check out a few guidelines over here and jump right in!  I love seeing new faces!

  3. Pictures, please!! I want to see how your stash is coming along! I totally understand the addiction to making the little bolts, makes it feel like your own little fabric store, hmm? :)

P.S. - I'm cutting into our little project today. Maybe I'll post a super sneak peek tonight...

  6. I finished my pincushion that I copied from you. :) I hope you don't mind. I totally love it! It was my first attempt making something with that style of scraps, and it was a lot of fun! Thanks for the great blog and sharing all of your great creativity!
