pouches!

wayyyy back before sewing summit, elizabeth and i decided to do a little private pouch swap with the intentions of swapping our stuff in person in salt lake city. well, guess who dropped the ball? this girl! :) so in an attempt to "make up" for the fact that elizabeth's pouch was a wee bit late, i decided to make one for her son too!

for the little man, i used some of my favorite dino print and used jeni's lined drawstring tutorial again! it's it stinking cute?!?! and for elizabeth's, i tried my hand at improv piecing using a yummy bunch of kona solids.

photo time!

it has officially landed with elizabeth and it sounds like her son digs the dinos as much as i do!  success! oh that reminds me, i need to take some pictures of the super cute pouch elizabeth made me. will do this weekend! :)

have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. Megan, the pouches are great, both moms and sons! I really ought to try out Jeni's tutorial, I'm sure I could use a drawstring bag for something!
