wip wednesday.

hey there! are you officially back to reality from the holiday hoopla? slowly but surely i'm getting there! between house sitting for the past week and battling a stomach flu these past few days, it's been a slow start to 2012. but somehow i was still able to get a few things done, take a look...

baseball bracelet. complete.
if you or your significant other loves baseball, you must check this post out. :)

first pdf pattern. in progress.
it's been a goal of mine to have some downloadable pdf quilt patterns available in my shop. so i rang in the new year by finishing up a pattern and i'm getting super excited to share it with you all! it's been quilted and bound, next step pictures! i think i will be sharing it next monday for the first {sew} modern monday of 2012. stay tuned!

my365. in progress.
i've been wanting to do a project 365 for a while now. but the reality is, there's no way i can keep up with taking picture with my big dslr each and every day. so i found this fun app. called my365. i can insert my instagram pictures into this fun calendar each day. here's to hoping i can keep up!

this week's stats:
new: 3
completed: 1
in progress: 2

i've also been trying to get caught up on emails and such this past week. it's crazy how fast that stuff can sneak up on you! oh, did i mention sign-ups are open for Round 2 of the For The Love Of Solids [a modern swap]? if you are interested, check it out! i'll be linking up to wip wednesday over at Freshly Pieced this week. be sure to check out the other fabulous projects that are linked up too!

xo, megan.

  1. Interesting APP. What the heck is an instagram? I follow you but saw this at WIP.

  2. I'm hoping to keep up with 365 too, I follow you on instagram so look forward to seeing your pics!

  3. Can't wait to see the new pattern!

  4. And this is why I want an iPhone or iPad :) I love the 365 idea, but you're right, a big heavy camera just isn't going to get used every day of the year. Can't wait to see your pattern photos!

  5. Excited about the new pattern. I just updated my 365 calendar. It was easier than I thought. Hope I can stay caught up!

  6. ohhh I'll have to look for that my365 app, how fun! Great projects, can't wait to see your pattern!

  7. Fun! Glad to hear you are creating your own pattern, can't wait to see more.

  8. Good luck on your 365 project. I burned out in June last year... but I didn't have an app to remind me to take pictures. I wish there was a PC version of this, I would be all over that... So far so good on 365 this year, but we are only 4 days in.

  9. I wish I had a newer iphone with a decent camera, I would definitely do the My365. Good luck with the pattern! Thanks for linking up!

  10. Looking forward to seeing the pattern. Alas, I have an ancient phone with a teeny tiny camera and no app capabilities, but that does look like fun!

  11. I'm right with you on the slow start ;-) Thanks for the info about the app, though! I'm definitely downloading it.
