1:34 AM

sometimes it's the little things in life...
like staying up until 1:34 AM sewing with your dad.
yep, that's right. my pops and i have been busy sewing,
sewing, sewing in the last 24 hours.
i'm pretty sure he's the coolest man i know!

have a great weekend, everyone!
xo, megan

  1. Can you send him over here when you're done?!?!?

  2. That's pretty awesome. Love it when a father-daughter team is good and productive one! My father and I can be a stellar team. However, we are forbidden to go to grocery stores together unsupervised. Apparently, we get too creative...

  3. Awww that is so nice! When my dad and I would stay up together it was to be in the woodshop building stuff, not at the sewing machine! Lucky you :)

  4. My silly dad is forbidden to be near my stuff he is a bull and a china shop... a very loveable bull, but a bull regardless. He is the only 71 year old man I know that still lifts 200lbs plus like it's nothing. Very awesome your dad and you sewing. Since I am married I miss our midnight trips to walmart (because it was the only thing open) because he knew it would make me smile. He always gave me 20 dollars of "mad money".

  5. See, that sounds so much more fun than what I've been doing with my dad the last few nights - on the phone talking him through setting things up on his first blog, and any other computer tech support he could think of o.O Probably a good thing he's 200 miles away, or I'm sure he'd have dropped round each night!

  6. fun times!! I'm a night owl too but I'm pretty sure my Dad would have been snoring by that time!! :)

  7. That is really awesome you can do that with your dad!

  8. How sweet ~
My Dad taught me how to sew my own clothing when I was 8 years old. He told me that he wanted to see me be unique in the way I dress. It was such a great gift, tho I didn't understand that at the time.

  9. Love it! My dad had his own hobbies, but I'm sure if he were still around he would appreciate the art of quiltmaking :-)
