WiP Wednesday {3}

Here are this weeks WiP stats:

COMPLETED PROJECTS:

I am excited about this finish, my first ever tutorial!  I was a little intimidated with the idea of writing a tutorial, but I am happy with the end result.  If you get a chance, check it out.  I love feed-back.

NEW PROJECTS:

Knitted Wrist Warmers
There is something about this time of year that makes me want to knit.  I think it's being able to curl up under a quilt, turn the fire place on, and watch holiday movies.  Here is one almost completed.

ON GOING PROJECTS (with a little progress):

Crazy 9-Patch
Over the weekend I decided to rip out the white print I had started with and I am really happy I did.  I now have 27 of these 9-patches completed and the rest cut out and ready to go.

Spider Web Quilt
I found time this weekend to get almost all my foundation pieces marked.  Now it is time to just sew, sew, sew!

ON GOING PROJECTS (with no progress):
Christmas Quilt

QUILTS BEING QUILTED:
Same as last week.

QUILTS WAITING TO BE QUILTED:
Same as last week.

That is all for this week's progress.
Now I am off to see what progress everyone else made over the long holiday weekend.

  1. I really love those wonky 9 patches, they're so fun! Great fabric choices. And I love that you're doing a spiderweb quilt, I definitely want to try one of those next year. What are those jelly rolls you're using? Happy WiP Wednesday! :)

  2. Megan- I really like your Green Grocery Bag tute! Are you interested in having it featured on GXQ? It goes so nice with the little theme the MQG has been suggesting for wrapping gifts in reusable bags. Let me know! (I couldn't find a place to email you - so sorry for commenting here!)

  3. Very nice tutorial for the bags! I bookmarked it for future reference.

Way to go ripping out those crazy 9-patch blocks. Ripping out tons of stitches is always so discouraging and tedious, but if you'll be happier with the end result, it ends up being worth it!

Thanks for linking up with WIP Wednesday. Have a great week!

  4. Thanks for the tutorial for the bags! I will definitely have to make one soon. I love the 9 patches and can't wait to see the spider web. I really want to make one myself one day.
