{Sew} Modern Monday #26

Hey, hey, hey!
Do you know what time it is?

{Sew} Modern Monday at Canoe Ridge Creations

It's {Sew} Modern Monday time!

Another week has come and gone, and I find myself...once again...without a fun, modern sewing finish to share with you all.  my apologies. :)  But hey, that doesn't mean I have completely stalled out on the sewing home front.  You see while there may not be any finishes, there have been lots of fun things in the works this past week.  Let's see, there's...
  • a fun new modern flickr swap.  Elizabeth and I are starting our own modern flickr swap called For the Love of Solids completely devoted to solid fabric junkies (like ourselves!).  You can find more details here.  Oh, and sign-ups start Wednesday, July 13!!
  • this week's teacher interview for The Sewing Summit blog.  This week's teacher spotlight is with Vanessa Christenson of V and Co. and her blog rocks!  The best part--she's moving to Iowa! Yep, that's right--only an hour or so away from me.  Gah!  It looks like my dreams of starting an Iowa MQG chapter could be coming true very soon.  Even if it is just the two of us--I will be happy as a clam! (wait, what the heck does that saying even mean?  moving on...)
  • speaking of TSS, did you all hear about some new travel bag developments?  Jeni from In Color Order and I (with the help of a great group of TSS teachers/bloggers/peeps) are putting together a fun series all about bags, bags, and more bags.  More details soon--but I promise, it will rock!
  • oh, and there has been sewing.  lots of sewing.  But, you'll have to take my word for it. :)
And in addition to all that, I have gone about my "real" life--the part that doesn't involve Twitter/Facebook/Blogs.  You know, the lame part. :)  Which is why I haven't had a chance to comment on all the link-ups from last week (boo!).  But rest assured I have checked them all out.  Plus, my mom usually let's me know what's been linked up each week. thanks mom for being my biggest fan!

Alright, moral of the story.  No sewing finish.

So let's get right to the fun part--your link ups!  I think you know the drill (if not, here are the rules).

Hit it!
